My approach to painting is to directly attack the canvas with a strong confidence,
bold brush strokes and a vibrant use of colors.

I give myself completely to the image I am creating.  My paintings are predominately from memory, feelings and imagination focusing on the fleeting nature of life and the people who have touched me.

Working on several paintings at a time is my general pattern.

Thumbnails, preliminary sketch or rough drawings is not my approach to a painting.

The image immediately takes on a life when my brush hits the canvas.

There is no planning ahead.  My instincts guide me.  The canvas tells me what to do.
